When he saw a fire and said to his family: Stay; indeed, I have seen a fire, perhaps I may bring to you therefrom a torch or find at the fire guidance. [Al Quran ; 20:10]
فَلَمَّا أَتَاهَا نُودِيَ يَا مُوسَىٰ (11)
And when he came to it, he was called: O Musa. [Al Quran ; 20:11]
(Saying) Put him into a chest and cast it into the river; and the river will throw him on the shore; there will take him an enemy to Me and enemy to him. And I have cast upon you love from Me that you would be brought up under My eye. [Al Quran ; 20:39]
When your sister went and said: Shall I direct you to one who will sponsor him? So We returned you to your mother that her eye might be pleased and not grieve. And you killed a soul, then We saved you from retaliation and tried you with a trial. And you remained for years among the people of Madyan. And you came as decreed, O Musa. [Al Quran ; 20:40]

Translation
Verses 41-60
وَاصْطَنَعْتُكَ لِنَفْسِي (41)
And I have made you for Myself: [Al Quran ; 20:41]
So go to him and say: Indeed, we are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the sons of Israel and do not castigate them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And peace be upon whoever follows the guidance. [Al Quran ; 20:47]
Who made for you the earth as a bed and made for you therein paths and sent down from the sky water and produced thereby pairs of various plants. [Al Quran ; 20:53]
Then we will bring you a magic like it, so make between us and you an appointment, which we will not fail to keep, neither us nor you, in an assigned place. [Al Quran ; 20:58]
Musa said to them (the magicians): Woe to you! Do not forge about Allah lies lest He exterminates you with torture; and he would fail who forges. [Al Quran ; 20:61]
They (the magicians) said: Indeed, these two are two magicians who want to evict you from your land by their magic and remove your best tradition. [Al Quran ; 20:63]
And throw what is in your right hand, it will swallow what they have fabricated; indeed, what they have fabricated is only a trick of a magician, and the magician will not succeed wherever he is. [Al Quran ; 20:69]
He (Firon) said: Have you believed in him before I allow you; indeed, he is your master who taught you magic. And I will surely cut off your hands and your legs on opposite sides, and I will surely crucify you on the trunks of palm trees, and you will surely know which of us is more severe in torture and more lasting. [Al Quran ; 20:71]
They (the magicians) said: We will not prefer you over what has come to us of clear proofs and (over) the One Who created us. So decree whatever you are going to decree; you can only decree in the life of this world. [Al Quran ; 20:72]
Indeed, we have believed in our Lord that He may forgive us our sins and what you have compelled us of magic. And Allah is best and more lasting. [Al Quran ; 20:73]
And We have certainly revealed to Musa: Travel by night with My servants, then strike for them a dry path in the sea; fear not to be overtaken, and be not afraid. [Al Quran ; 20:77]
O sons of Israel! We have saved you from your enemy, and We made a covenant with you at the right side of mount Tur, and We sent down upon you manna and quails. [Al Quran ; 20:80]

Eat from the good things from which We have provided you and do not transgress therein, lest My anger will come upon you. And he upon whom My anger comes has certainly fallen. [Al Quran ; 20:81]
So Musa returned to his people angry and grieved. He said: O my people! Did your Lord not promise you a good promise? Then, was the covenant far (in time) to you, or did you want that there should come to you an anger from your Lord, so you broke my promise? [Al Quran ; 20:86]
They said: We did not break your promise by our will, but we were made to bear burdens from the ornaments of the people (of Firon), so we cast them (in fire), and thus did the Samirai throw. [Al Quran ; 20:87]
So he (Samirai) extracted for them a body of calf which had a lowing sound, and they said: This is your god and the god of Musa, but he forgot. [Al Quran ; 20:88]
And Harun has certainly said to them before: O my people! You are only being tried by it, and indeed, your Lord is the Compassionate, so follow me and obey my command. [Al Quran ; 20:90]
He (Harun) said: O son of my mother! Do not seize (me) by my beard or by my head; indeed, I feared that you would say: You have caused division among the sons of Israel and did not watch my saying. [Al Quran ; 20:94]
قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكَ يَا سَامِرِيُّ (95)
He (Musa) said: So, what was your story, O Samirai? [Al Quran ; 20:95]
He (Samirai) said: I saw what they did not see, so I took a handful (of dust) from the track of the messenger, then I threw it; and thus did my soul entice me. [Al Quran ; 20:96]
He (Musa) said: Then go; and indeed, for you in (this) life to say: No touch; and indeed, there will be for you an appointment that you will not fail to keep; and look at your god to which you kept devoted; we will surely burn it, then we will surely blast it in the sea with a blast. [Al Quran ; 20:97]
On that day, they will follow the caller, there will be no deviation in him; and the voices will be humbled before the Compassionate, so you will not hear except a whisper. [Al Quran ; 20:108]
On that day, intercession will not benefit except one to whom the Compassionate has given permission and has accepted from him a saying. [Al Quran ; 20:109]
And thus have We sent it down as an Arabic Quran and have displayed therein of the threats that perhaps they fear or that it could make them remember. [Al Quran ; 20:113]
So exalted is Allah, the King, the Truth. And do not hasten with the Quran before its revelation is completed to you, and say: My Lord ! Increase me in knowledge. [Al Quran ; 20:114]
And the devil whispered to him; he said: O Adam! Shall I direct you to the tree of eternity and a kingdom that will not deteriorate? [Al Quran ; 20:120]

And they (Adam and his spouse) ate from it, and their private parts became visible to them, and they began to fasten over themselves from the leaves of the garden. And Adam disobeyed his Lord, and he erred. [Al Quran ; 20:121]
He said: Descend from it all, being enemies to one another. And if there should come to you from Me guidance, then whoever follows My guidance will not go astray misguided nor suffer. [Al Quran ; 20:123]
And whoever turns away from My remembrance, then indeed, for him will be a difficult life, and We will gather him on the day of resurrection blind. [Al Quran ; 20:124]
And thus do We reward whoever was extravagant and did not believe in the signs of his Lord, and surely the torture of the hereafter is more severe and more lasting. [Al Quran ; 20:127]
So has it not become clear to them how many generations We destroyed before them who were walking within their homes? Indeed, in that are signs for those who possess intelligence. [Al Quran ; 20:128]
So be patient over what they say and glorify with praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting, and during a period of the night glorify (Him), and at the ends of the day, that you may be pleased. [Al Quran ; 20:130]
And do not stretch your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to (some) pairs of them. The flower of the life of this world by which We try them. And the provision by your Lord is better and more lasting. [Al Quran ; 20:131]
And command your family with prayer and be patient over it. We do not ask you for provision, We provide for you, and the (best) outcome is for fearing. [Al Quran ; 20:132]
And they said: Why does he not bring us a sign from his Lord? Has there not come to them evidence of what is in the former scriptures? [Al Quran ; 20:133]
And had We destroyed them with torture before this, they would have said: Our Lord! Why did You not send to us a messenger so we would have followed Your signs before we were humiliated and disgraced? [Al Quran ; 20:134]
