40.31 - Like the custom of the people of Nuh and Ad and Thamud and those after them. And Allah does not want injustice for (His) servants; 40.32 - And O my people! I fear upon you the day of calling. 40.33 - The day you will turn your backs fleeing; there will not be for you from Allah any shielder, and whoever Allah causes to err, there will not be for him any guide. 40.34 - And Yusuf had certainly come to you before with clear signs, but you remained in doubt of that which he brought to you; until when he perished, you said: Allah will never send after him a messenger. Thus does Allah misguide one who is extravagant and sceptic. 40.35 - Those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah without any authority coming to them; greatly hated by Allah and by those who have believed. Thus does Allah seal over the heart of every arrogant tyrant. 40.36 - And Firon said: O Haman! Build for me a tower that I may reach the means (of knowledge). 40.37 - The means (of knowledge) concerning the heavens, so that I can look at the god of Musa; and indeed, I think he is a liar. And thus was decorated for Firon the evil of his deed, and he hindered from the way; and the plan of Firon was not except in ruin. 40.38 - And the one who has believed said: O my people! Follow me; I will guide you to the way of maturity. 40.39 - O my people! The life of this world is only an enjoyment; and indeed, the hereafter is the home of settlement. 40.40 - Whoever does an evil deed, he will not be rewarded except the like of it, and whoever does good deed, whether male or female, and is a believer, it is them who will enter the garden, they will be given provision therein without measure.
