In The name of Allah, The Compassionate, The Merciful.
58.1 - Allah has certainly heard the saying of the one who disputes with you concerning her husband and complains to Allah. And Allah hears your dialogue; indeed, Allah is Hearing, Seeing.
58.2 - Those among you who prohibit their women (upon themselves), they are not their mothers, their mothers are none except those who gave birth to them. And indeed, they say an evil saying and falsehood; and indeed, Allah is Pardoning, Forgiving.
58.3 - And those who prohibit their women (upon themselves) then retreat what they have said, then (there must be) the freeing of a neck (a slave) before they touch each other. That is what you are admonished thereby; and Allah is over what you do Acquainted.
58.4 - And whoever does not find (a slave), then the fasting for two consecutive months before they touch each other; and whoever is unable (to fast), then the feeding of sixty needy persons. That is for you to believe in Allah and His messenger, and those are the limits of Allah. And for the unbelievers will be a painful torture.
58.5 - Indeed, those who oppose Allah and His messenger will be abased as those before them were abased. And We have sent down clear signs; and for the unbelievers will be a humiliating torture.
58.6 - The day Allah will resurrect them all and inform them of what they did; Allah has recorded it while they have forgotten it. And Allah is over everything Witness.
58.7 - Have you not seen that Allah knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth? There is no private consultation between three except that He is the fourth of them, nor are there five except that He is the sixth of them, and no less than that or more except that He is with them wherever they are. Then He will inform them of what they did, on the day of resurrection. Indeed, Allah is, of everything, Knowing.
58.8 - Have you not seen those who were forbidden from private consultation, then they return to that which they were forbidden, and they consult privately between themselves about sin and perpetration and disobedience to the messenger? And when they come to you, they greet you with that by which Allah does not greet you, and they say among themselves: Why does Allah not punish us for what we say? Sufficient for them will be hell, they are going to reach it; and miserable is the destination.
58.9 - O you who have believed! When you consult privately between yourselves, then do not consult privately about sin and perpetration and disobedience to the messenger but consult privately with each other about righteousness and piety. And fear Allah, to Whom you will be gathered.
58.10 - Private consultation is only from the devil that he may cause grieve to those who have believed, but he will not harm them in anything except with the permission of Allah. And upon Allah let the believers rely.
