Class Discussion - Mary the sister of Harun !!

Assalamo Alaykum,
There was an objection to Mary being the sister of Haroon during the time of Rasool Allah ( صلى الله عليه وسلم ) and there is a Hadeeth on it:
We read in Saheeh Muslim,
حدثنا أبو سعيد الأشج ومحمد بن المثنى قالا حدثنا ابن إدريس عن أبيه عن سماك بن حرب عن علقمة بن وائل عن المغيرة بن شعبة قال
بعثني رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إلى نجران فقالوا لي ألستم تقرءون يا أخت هارون وقد كان بين عيسى وموسى ما كان فلم أدر ما أجيبهم فرجعت إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فأخبرته فقال ألا أخبرتهم أنهم كانوا يسمون بأنبيائهم والصالحين قبلهم
قال أبو عيسى هذا حديث حسن صحيح غريب لا نعرفه إلا من حديث ابن إدريس
Saheeh Muslim
Book 025, Number 5326: Mughira b. Shu'ba reported: When I came to Najran, they (the Christians of Najran) asked me: You read" O sister of Harun" (i. e. Hadrat Maryam) in the Qur'an, whereas Moses was born much before Jesus. When I came back to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) I asked him about that, whereupon he said: The (people of the old age) used to give names (to their persons) after the names of Apostles and pious persons who had gone before them.
